The
Trauma Image and Procedure (
Trauma Image Proced) is the official journal of the Korean Association for Research, Procedures and Education on Trauma (KARPET), and is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal. The aim of the journal is to publish simple and core contents of the trauma without pedantic lists of information. The journal also aims to simplify the submission process, so that any personnel working in the trauma field can make a submission conveniently and read easily.
Trauma Image Proced publishes case reports and review papers with case series on trauma-associated medical fields such as surgeries including general surgery, chest surgery, orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, head and neck surgery, gynecology and ophthalmology, emergency medicine, anesthesiology, neuro-psychiatrics, rehabilitation medicine and radiology including interventional radiology. Its scope comprised the follows: Trauma Image; procedures related with trauma; treatment progression in trauma; new instruments and techniques in trauma; newly evolving therapy of the trauma.
Its publication types include short case reports with brief images (notable trauma image), treatment progress (notable treatment progression), and how to do it (short presentation of trauma procedure); review articles, editorial. Other types are also negotiable with the editorial board. All articles are subject to peer review and processed through an online system.
